Terri Lynn Slaymaker passed away on March 17, 2022 in Broken Arrow, OK. She was born on May 25, 1954 in Tulsa, OK, daughter of the late Wayne and Louise Caves. She married her lifetime love, Jim Slaymaker in June 1972. They were married for almost 50 years.
Terri graduated from Webster High School and received a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from The University of Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow. Terri had an amazing sense of humor and brought laughter to all those around her. She was a devoted wife, beloved mother and doting grandma. Terri was a faithful believer, always praying for her loved ones and was happiest when spending time with her family. Heaven recently gained more laughter and love.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Slaymaker and by her five children and their spouses, Stephanie and Chad Caruth, Jamie and Buddy Lewis, Spence and Jennifer Slaymaker, Jacob Slaymaker and Jade Slaymaker; six grandchildren, Ashley, Ryann, Jaelee, Mackenzie, Holden and Sophie; her brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Susan Caves. She also leaves behind many additional family members and friends that will deeply miss her.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on March 23, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. located at Floral Haven, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
Viewing will also be held at Floral Haven on March 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m
